The Paris Hilton Song

aka.. Nicole Richie/Lindsay Lohan/Britney Spears song. Harharhar. Ten points for you Hilary!

you got the hottest shoes (you got it)
you got those jimmy choo's (you got it)
you never get the blues, it's always all about you (we got it, we got it)

wake up late
no time to waste
better check that phone
there's a club too close

where's your, where's your, where's your dignity?
i think you lost it in the hollywood hills
where's your, where's your, where's your dignity?
can't buy respect, but you can pick up the billpick it up, pick it up
so you got it, so you got it,pick it up, pick it up
'cause money makes your world go round
(money makes your world go round)

always with mr. right (right now)
but then you have a fight (he's out)
run into your friend's ex
he's happy to be your next (she won't mind, she won't mind)

tomorrow's paperscomin' out
so kiss him fast, watch the cameras flash....

Is Hilary a hypocrite? Nah.. not a fan but.. I read gossip/entertainment blogs almost everyday and I haven't seen a pic of her getting drunk in a night club or intentionally flashing hers (you know what I mean).

RANDOM...

I like The Veronicas. I downloaded like 3 of their songs. They lack originality though but they still sounded good. One of the best pop acts I've heard.

I love "I Could Get Used To This" especially the first lines. You make me breakfast in bed.. When I'm mixed up in my head... and because you listen to me when I'm depressed..It doesn't seem to make you like me less... ahh.. those lines are LOVE! Michelle Branch is that you singing? Hehe. "Cry" is awesome, though it sounded like an Avril Lavigne song. I love "4ever" too... reminds me of Kelly Clarkson + Ashley Simpson.

John Mayer's Dreaming with a Broken Heart is the BEST sad love song everrrr. *sniff* I can't relate but it's just sooo sad and beautiful.

Katharine Mcphee's next single, I heard, will be Love Story. I actually love it. It's a fun and upbeat song. And better than Over It, imo.

Say Ok (by Vanessa Hudgens) is a Zanessa song. Go check out the video.

Stand By Your Man. I love all versions: Tammy Wynette, Dixie Chicks and Carrie Underwood. Classic country!

Carrie's I'll Stand By You.. huhuhu... love it. The song has set iTunes record! The girl is just unstoppable. You juggernaut Carrie!

More about the Disney tweens

Aly & AJ.. they're amazingly gifted girls. I'm digging their music. Their genre? Teen Pop. Hee! In a Blender Magazine article, their album was called "a collection of soaring, motivational pop-rock and slow-stirred ballads" and the two girls were described as "blonde, god-fearing, American pop adolescents... they’re home-schooled, songwriting moppets; like the Olsen twins, they’re adorable acting stars on the G-rated scene; and, like the Simpson sisters, they’re pop singers whose love for Jesus does not distract from the fact that they are more than a bit cute."

What I love about their songs is that they're so listenable, current yet inoffensive, catchy and a bit edgy. And I love the whole image too. Christian Disney tweens rocking out. Cool. And they're less commercial, can sing and songwriters. Ok, countdown!

1. On the Ride - Lyrics sounded like a bestfriends' theme. I LOVE it.
2. No One - The vocals were goooood. The melody..ermm harmony (whatever haha) worked well.
3. Collapsed 4. Rush

OMZV!!!! sdjkfierkjelajdeiudwef!!!!!! I can't believe what I just saw! Wooh! Hawaii paparazzi pics of Zanessa are.... hottt.. cuuttteee...suhweeet... absolutely shocking (coz seriously, they looked so wholesome in HSM).. ah...just unbelievable. Yes, I'm 25 years old and I'm squeeeeing like a 15-year old fan. LOL. I actually didn't like the tandem at first..even HSM. I thought the movie and the tandem were toooo corny and childish..but I love the songs. And after seeing their pictures on the web, I realized they look cute together.

Awwww.. (credits to paparazzi..hehe)

What's New?

I haven’t blogged since…November last year.. wow. Well, I’m always online. I really just don’t have the drive to update this one. So what’s new on TV? I haven’t seen yet Season 3 of my fave shows: Prison Break, Veronica Mars, Lost, The Office and Grey’s Anatomy. So there’s nothing to discuss about those shows right now. Oh… it is American Idol season yeah!! But no, season 6 is not that exciting as I thought it would be. There are still great singers (Melinda), overrated ones (Jordin) and “characters” (Sanjaya). But there is no Carrie Underwood and Katharine Mcphee this year, so I’m not that interested. My current favorite show is Hannah Montana (don’t laugh!). Shows like these make me feel youngER. And I’ve been listening to other Disney music as well. I think Aly and AJ are soooo awesome. I recently saw some of their concert performances in youtube. Man, these girls can sing live. And speaking of Disney, I can’t wait to see High School Musical 2! I don’t know when it’s gonna be shown but I am really excited. This show is sooo cheesy, I know. But I love the simplicity and freshness of the songs, the cheese-element of Troy and Gabriella (including Zanessa *squeeee* lol), and the over-the-top production numbers. I just love it. Period. Hee!

Waiting for my World to Change

I’ve been feeling so pathetic lately…almost desperate. I don’t know. And I always keep reminding myself… Be patient. Be strong. And be happy. I hate “hating” and whining. It’s so unhealthy and useless. It doesn’t help you move on. Instead, it pushes you down. It is however a struggle – to think positively everyday and at every moment despite the lack of motivation and inspiration. It’s not about forcing yourself to be positive and happy when you’re really not. I have just realized that constant whining won’t help me achieve the things that I wanted. Bottomline is that I’m just confused. And I seriously want a “change”..like a life-makeover! I’m not sure what kind of makeover is that. Geez. I don’t even know what I really want. I do really sound so troubled huh? Well, not really. Like I’ve said, I’m really just… confused.

certified teevee junkie

My worst weakness is procrastination. I can't explain how busy I am now and how precious my 24 hours are! But I'm giving myself thirty minutes (or an hour maybe) to do this nonsense stuff. Hee!

I am in hiatus as a TV/DVD addict right now (I'm currently "busy" doing "something" for a "sacred-fruit" company. Haha!). I need to sleep actually, get some rest, wake up early tomorrow (Sunday) and start working again. But I just want to do this. Umm... forty-five minutes! And I'll shut this computer off, disconnect from the web and hibernate..zzZZhhHH!!!

OKAY. The last TV series talk I did here was Veronica Mars. I don't have the time and passion right now to make a lengthy and devoted post for my other TV obsessions - Lost and Prison Break (PB). But I'm going to write quick reviews. No one says I need to do this but I feel obligated. I don't know why. And let me add Grey's Anatomy (GA) too!

GREY'S ANATOMY

I still can't consider myself being "obsessed" and "super-hooked" with Grey's Anatomy but I loved it - though not the same level of love I had for Lost and PB. It's probably because I hated the lead character - no one else but Meredith aka "Meh" (because she's boring) or "Merebitch" (too mean to say this.. but she is the real bitch, sorry) GREY. It is an awesome show nevertheless. The dialogues are smart and witty. The writers did a good job in creating such a varied and unique characters/casts. They were also able to establish interesting yet somewhat complicated relationships between characters.

Favorite characters: Bailey (Everyone loves her! Asteeg!) and Addison (Initially, we are supposed to hate her. But the writers made this contrabida-looking doctor likeable. Love her.)

Favorite relationship: Cristina and Burke (I am not squeeing over the tandem but I love how they compliment each other.)

Favorite hunk: McSteamy! (His character is Mark Sloan. I had to google that name because I can't remember it. Hehe. I think he appeared in one or two episodes only but he is crucial to the Meh-Derek-Addison/McDrunky-McDreamy-McDevil triangle. McVet, though he also deserves some woOot, falls under the category "very cute".)

Least favorite character: Meh (Are you still shocked? Haha! I also don't like the actress, Ellen Pompeo. Sometimes, I think she looked really hot..in some angles maybe. But most of time, she got me irritated.)

Favorite lines: Bailey and Cristina lines but notably this.. "Stop looking at my vajayjay!" Wahaha!

Scenes/Substories:

Funniest: (This is pretty tough) Meh, Izzie and Cristina trying to inject something on George (Yes, that STD episode... very funny!!!)

Most irritating: Izzie crazily falling in love over Deney (I know many fell in love with their story. I was not an anti-Izzie/Denny but it came to a point when I was like..."Duh..OA na.."

Touching: I hate Meh but that bomb episode (with guest Christina Ricci)... I think she did great in there. And.. Burke being shot..

Awwww moment: Alex carrying/comforting Izzie when Denny died. Alex was very bitchy and inhumane in Season 2. Not that he was able to redeem himself there. I still did not like what he did. But I can't help but still have that "Awwww" feeling when he comforted Izzie.

GA was not as addictive as other series but it's very amusing. I love its comic and wacky side. I used to hate hospitals but now I look at it differently.

And lastly, my cheer... "Go Team Addison!"

LOST

I got hooked in this series than any other shows but I don't think I'd be saying a lot this time. Hehe. JJ Abrams is a fantabulous writer! I love Felicity and Alias too, you know. But it's different. It's mind-boggling and the mysteries are evolving. The show is open to wide speculations, predictions, theories and interpretations.

There is always something likeable and not likeable about the characters. Actually, I can't decide who my most favorite character really is. It's so hard to choose.

I had a fling with Boone. (Those eyes....waaah!) I also love his story with Shannon. I mourned that night when I saw the episode when he died (Dang! File not found!).

Sawyer lines are downright funny. Kate is beautiful. Jack is a hero, but he needed to lessen his controlling/dominating attitude. I love Claire and Charlie's bloody accent. I like Sayid (not Shayid). Mr. Eko's story was touching. Ana Lucia is the most hateable character ever. Good thing she was killed. Baaybee Aaron is cute. I hope I won't see Michael again in Season 3!

PRISON BREAK

Love love love this show! It is quite similar to Shawshank Redemption, one of my all-time favorite movies. It's the most addictive. Having to break a marathon session is such a hard thing to do because I was always eager to know what would happen in the next episodes.

WENTWORTH MILLER. Rowrr!! I love his acting actually, despite some comments I read about him being a little bit emotionless.

The Michael Scofield-Dr. Sara Trancedi story made me squee. Tee Hee! Their relationship is the most different I've seen so far on TV. Silent flirtations are the sexiest!! Haha! Great acting by Wentworth and Sarah Wayne Callies. The dialogues aren't too lovey-dovey. Oh gosh, and they're both pretty. Sarah actually reminds me of Natalie Portman, just more mature and taller. Haha.

I like the casts too: Abruzzi, T-Bag, Sucre (Oh Maricruz!), C-Note and the rest of the gang.

I am patiently reading recaps now (S2). I wish I could download the epsiodes... :(

dvd and jewel

I'm currently watching Lost and Grey's Anatomy! Aarrggh! I need to get a life! Seriously!

Anyway, I was lurking again in TWoP and I found these thread descriptions really funny!

Woody Goodman: Wow, Do You Work Out!
Weevil: I'm Crusing Your Head! I'm Crushing Your Head!
Dick Casablancas: I Find Your Quick Wit Enchanting
Duncan Kane: Error 404 -- File Not Found
Jason Dohring: Yes, He's Married.
She Used To Be A Laker Girl: Kendall Casablancas
Sheriff Don Lamb: Who DO Birds Suddenly Appear?
Gia Goodman: What Do You Think of Me? REALLY?
Meg Manning: Sniff.

Hahaha!!! Amazing! The Duncan Kane and Gia Goodman descriptions really made me laugh! And Jason D... Eeek! Yes, he really IS married. Sniff.

Grey's Anatomy (here are some..)

Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd: So Dreamy!
Dr. Alex Karev: Frat Boy Bitch
"You don't get to call me a whore" The Anti-McDreamy/Meh League
11 Years: Addison/Derek

Eleven years!! Haha! I love Addison.. really bitchy but so real, edgy and smart. And she's got the spunk! I hate Meredith Grey! I know this is her show but I thought the character is kind of disappointing.. boring.. i don't know! I'm not sure if it has something to do with the actress (Ellen Pompeo) and her acting. I am so into the Anti-McDreamy/Meh League! Go Team Addison! Hee!

Jewel

I got to listen to her new song (Goodbye Alice in Wonderland) from her new album. I LOVE it! The lyrics, as they say, are so confessional and honest. I was sort of disappointed when she turned pop and changed her image.. This song reminds me of Pieces of You and Spirit.. I'm glad she's back to her old music.

I know posting lyrics in blogs is the corniest! I don't care.. These lines need to be posted here!

So goodbye Alice in Wonderland
Goodbye yellow brick road
There is a difference between dreaming and pretending
I did not find paradise
It was only a reflection of my lonely mind wanting
what’s been missing in my life

And growing up is not an absence of dreaming
Its being able to understand the difference between
The ones you can hold and the ones that you've been sold
But dreaming is a good thing
Cause it brings new things to life
Pretending is an ending
That perpetuates a lie
Forgetting what you are
Seeing for what you've been told

Lost! I'm still on Ep. 4 of Season 1. Nothing much to talk about yet. JJ Abrams is a genius! Felicity, Alias and Lost.. wow!
